Theodor Aman Museum

Founded in 1908 in a neoclassical building dating from 1869 (designed by the architect Fr. Scheller after the Aman’s plans) the collection comprises many oil paintings, drawings, watercolours, engravings, sculptures from the original items donated by Ana Aman (in 1904), as well as prints, etchings, documents, letters, exhibition catalogues, old weapons, masks, costumes, the painter’s tools and violoncello.
