In 1953 the Opera House moved to its current building, brand new and fully equipped. Still the one thousand seats could hardly host the opera fans, attracted by the fame of the theatre, the excellent casts, the high artistry of the performances, the perfection of the chorus – one of the best in Eastern Europe. More than 150 premieres have been staged since, and every season includes new productions.
We will be staying at the Hotel Opera on May 24 & 25 and would like to attend the Opera House on one of those evenings. Could you please tell me what performances are running on those dates and if there are tickets available and at what price.
